“Following the norms adopted in the last year counselling, I have decided to give option to the respective Pastorates either (i) to retain those Pastors who are 60 year of age and above by taking a decision in this regard in the General Body meeting (or) (ii) to call a Pastors from the counselling list.

If any dispute has arisen as to the decision of the General Body meeting in calling the Pastors for 6 years by transfer or in retention of Pastors of 60 years of age and above, the Administrator will enquire and take final decision in this regard.

It is made clear that no request to retain a Pastor in the same Pastorate will be entertained, if he has served for more than 6 years, and if he is not aged 60 years and above.”

Sorry to hear the demise of Mr. J. Paras, father of Rev. Chrispin Paras and Rev. Ruban Paras in Trivandrum Synod.
