ஆம்பூரிலுள்ள பெதஸ்தா மருத்துவமனை நூறு ஆண்டுகள் பழமை வாய்ந்தது. 1919 -இல் ஆம்பூரில் நிறுவப்பட்டது. 200 படுக்கை வசதிகள் கொண்டது. ஆம்பூர் மற்றும் சுற்றுவட்டார பகுதி ஏழை மக்களுக்கு மருத்துவ வசதியை செய்து வந்தது.

ஆனால் IELC  நிர்வாகம் 2013-இல் இரண்டாக பிளவுண்ட போது,  மருத்துவமனையும் இரட்டைத் தலைமைக்கு உட்பட்டு தள்ளாட தொடங்கியது.  தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு சம்பளம் கொடுப்பதற்கான வருவாயே ஈட்ட முடியாமல் போனது.

எப்பொழுது, சம்பளமே கொடுக்க முடியவில்லையோ, உடனே மருத்துவனையை மூடி, பின்னர் திறப்புக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

ஆனால்,  ஒரு மாதச்  சம்பளத்தை பல மாதங்கள் கழித்து, அதுவும் பகுதி பகுதியாக தருவது என்ற முறையில் ஆரம்பித்து, 2013-இல்  இருந்தே வருங்கால வைப்புநிதி (PF) செலுத்தாமல் இருந்து, சங்கிலிக் குப்பத்தில் இருந்த 1 ஏக்கர் IELC – TA  நிலத்தை விற்றும் PF பாக்கி அடைபடவில்லை என்று PF நிர்வாகம் கூறி, ஏலகிரி மலையில் உள்ள IELC  நிலத்தை விற்கப்போவதாக கூறிய நிலையில் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் ஓய்வு பெற்ற நீதிபதியை நிர்வாகியாக நியமித்தது.

மார்ச் 2015 இறுதியில் ஏப்ரல் 1 முதல் மருத்துவமனை மூடப்பட்டது. அதற்குப் பின் தொழிலாளர்கள் பணி இழந்தனர்.

31.03.2015 – இல் மூடப்பட்டதின் விளைவாக 240 தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு சட்டப்படி சேரவேண்டிய,

  1. 31.03.2015 வரை சம்பள பாக்கி
  2. பணிக்கொடை (Gratuity)
  3. மூடுவதற்கான நஷ்ட ஈடு
  4. மூடுவது பற்றிய ஒரு மாத அறிவிப்புக்கு பதில் ஒரு மாத சம்பளம்

என்ற வகையில் சுமார் ரூபாய்  5 கோடி தரவேண்டி உள்ளது என்பதை ஒரு மாதத்திற்கும் மேலாக, மருத்துவமனை    கணக்கு (Accounts ) பிரிவில்  பணிபுரியும் தொழிலாளர்களின் உதவியுடன் கணக்கிட்டு, ஆடிட்டர் திரு. மகாகணபதி அவர்கள் மருத்துவமனை ஆவணங்களின் அடிப்படையில் கணக்கிட்டு அளித்ததன்  அடிப்படையில் 12.06.2019 அன்று, நிர்வாகி ஆம்பூரில் உள்ள பெதஸ்தா மருத்துவமனை சர்ச் வளாகத்தில் தொழிலாளர்களுடன் இது சம்மந்தமான ஒப்பந்தம் செய்தார்.

அந்த 240 தொழிலாளர்கள் 5 பிரிவாக உள்ளனர். அவர்களுக்கு சேர வேண்டிய தொகைகள் பற்றிய விபரமும், ஒப்பந்த நகலும் இங்கே பதிவிடப்படுகிறது :


இதற்குப்பின், வேலூரில் உள்ள கிறிஸ்டியன் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனை (CMC Hospital ) பெதஸ்தா மருத்துவமனையை  மிஷினரி நோக்கில் இயக்க சம்மதம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.  இதைப்  பற்றியும், நிர்வாகி  CMC   –  நிர்வாகத்துடன் கலந்து ஆலோசித்து  உரிய ஏற்பாட்டை செய்வார்.தொழிலார்களுக்கு சட்டப்படி  சேர வேண்டிய தொகைகளை கொடுப்பதற்காக, அதற்கான நிலத்தை விற்பதற்கு சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் அனுமதியை நிர்வாகி விரைவில் பெற்று, ஒப்பந்தப்படி பணம் கிடைக்க ஏற்பாடு செய்வார்.

Rev. Y. Suvisesha Muthu, President – IELC  sent a reply to Rev. Rajagambeeram by mail is as follow:

”  Dear Rev. Gambeeram,

Kindly note that I came to know about these issues two weeks back and made immediate inquiries and found a fraud letter was used to transfer the properties. We took immediate action and made arrangements to submit the documents to the IELC Administrator. The very next day copies of the documents started circulating in the internet, which clearly shows that some culprits are having the involvement  who want to grab the church properties. By this time you also should be knowing that huge amount of money was offered to Late Rev. Moon’s family if they handover the documents to someone in Vellore. But they refused. Now they are getting threat calls.
I agree it is every one’s responsibility to safe guard the church property, including the Ambur Synod, where the property is located. I think the Christ Lutheran Church Vellore congregation should file a complaint to the Administrator to take appropriate action.
In any event, I agree with Rev. Gopi that the matter should have been clarified with me or other officers before posting in the public domain. That only questions the purpose of doing it.
You know very well that our role in IELC Administration is much limited and more so that no one in the IELC is bothered to approach us.
I did not have much opportunities like you and other leaders to safeguard the IELC properties. For my part, I am doing whatever possible to defend the valuable Valliyoor property.
Now we requested the Honourable Administrator Justice Sri. Hariparanthaman, to recover the IELC Deaf School property and he will take appropriate action without fear or favor with the will and power provided by the Honourable High court. We also requested him to recover other such properties including Madurai and he is working on that.
Let us unitedly fight the land grabbing in IELC instead of blaming each other.

A meeting with Dr. Solomon Sathish Kumar, Secretary, Christian Medical College Association, Vellore

The Administrator met Dr. Solomon Sathish Kumar, the Secretary of the CMC Vellore Association,  in CMC at Vellore on 12.06.2019 at 4 PM along with Mr. M. Karunakaran, Secretary to the Administrator, Rev. K. Victor, President, Mr. Robert Joel, Secretary and Mr.Immanuel Rajasegaran, Treasurer of the Ambur Synod.

Dr. Solomon Sathishkumar made it clear that the sponsorship programme for all the courses for the  year 2019-20 in CMC, Vellore was already over and the IELC cannot get the sponsorship privilege for the year 2019-20.

He further stated that the Inspection Committee would submit its report about the inspection on 12.06.2019  of the Christian Welfare Centre (CWC), Malappuram, Kerala, the hospital of the IELC to the Credential Committee, CMC Vellore Association.

This inspection is part of the sponsorship credentialing process to consider IELC’s request for restoring its sponsorship privileges, according to Dr. Solomon Sathishkumar.

The Credential Committee, after perusing the Inspection report, would give its report to the Executive Committee, CMC Vellore Association.

The recommendations of the EC of the CMC Vellore Association. about the restoration of sponsorship privileges to the IELC will be placed before the   CMC Association ordinary General meeting on 27th & 28th June 2019 at Vellore, wherein the Administrator participates on behalf of the IELC.

The General meeting of the CMC Association would decide about the restoration of sponsorship privileges to the IELC in future years.

Therefore, the Administrator, IELC makes its very clear that no sponsorship through the IELC to the CMC, Vellore could be made for the year, that is 2019-20, for any course.

The restoration of the sponsorship privileges for the future  to the IELC will be known only after the general meeting of the CMC Vellore Association on 27th & 28th June 2019.

Who benefited from the Scam ?

 

” Dear Rev. Rajagambeeram

Someone sent me a copy of your facebook posting about me and other IELC officers involvement in IELC Deaf school, Vellore land sale.

I am very much upset that a person of your caliber post matters  without verifying . First of all as I understand that it was not a sale but land exchange. One Mr. Vijayakumar from Vellore introduced one Payani to Rev. Moon and he started convincing Rev. Moon to exchange the land , as much as I can understand. Secondly , we, the officers of IELC never gave any letter or authorization to Rev. Moon. The letter is a fraud.

We are waiting to hear from the IELC Administrator to file a police complaint against the culprits. We are ready to face any inquiry in this regard. No church council resolution is passed during our period and how can we give a resolution like that? The church council minute book is open to all and is being scrutinized by the Administrator now.

You also know very well that the Trust Secretary signs any letter relating to IELC property and not the IELC secretary. May I ask you a question? Who was the President when the Madurai property was leased out to Dr. Arun Martin? It was You. I know who all received kick- backs and how much each one received.

You should have called any one of us to in a Christian way. The actual sale of land has taken place at Christ Lutheran Church Vellore. Please find some one from that Congregation who has the courage to take action on Mr. Vijayakumar. Nothing was done even after two years.

As soon as we came to know about the IELC Deaf school matters,we made arrangements to handover the entire documents to the IELC Administrator . The Rev. Moon family was offered Crores of Rupees  for the documents but they refused. Still they are being threatened by Mr. Vijayakumar and his minions for doing the right thing.

Now the Administrator IELC will take appropriate action to retrieve the land if it is a loss to the IELC or decide otherwise in his wisdom and knowledge after making inquires and won’t jump into immature conclusions.

” Dear pastor Gopinath,

Greetings in Jesus Christ  name.
Thank you for your reply to my facebook posting with regard to IELC properties sold/exchanged by Late Rev. Isaac moon in vellore.
First of all my posting in the FB is only to get clarified from you because your name along with other officers were in that communication.
Knowing this even before my posting in FB, you should have clarified your position in this land scam in Vellore and proceeded legal action to retrieve the properties  to IELC.
Now only you come out with the truth after my posting. I want these explanation and clarification should informed to the churches in IELC and to the LCMS so that you and the other officers must sent an open letter clarifying your non involvement in these allegation.
Again I request you to convene the church council and the IELC trust association to resolve to take legal proceeding against persons who forged your signatures and find out the ways and means to whether to recover the properties or recover the sale produce from the party.
One thing I want clarify the reason for posting in the FB is that the matter was travelling in the social media several months before my FB posting but you you are not serious about it. The churches were in suspicious about you leaders and started accusing you in this matter. Instead of proving your innocence you accusing me in the leasing out the property in By-pass Madurai, for your information every thing was transferant in that matter the trust general body. Committee of management with the approval of the church council I took the resolution to USA there Rev. Herbert Hoffer, The facilitator for India and Srilanka LCMS arranged a tripatriate meeting involving Rev. Robert Rogner, the Executive secretary ,International missions ,LCMS.Rev. David Birner, Associate secretary IM,LCMS, represenung LCMS. Rev.John Mehl,Asia director for LCMS Rev. Ted Engelbret former IELC trust secretary & treasurrer and Dr. Herbert hoeffer, Facilitator for India And Srilanka representing Asia team and myself representing IELC were attended the meeting in US, the LCMS record its appreciation the efforts of the IELC to develop the properties for income generation purpose and unanimously resolved to proceed leasing out a portion of the Madurai by-pass property then only with the knowledge of Dr. Miss Alice Braur the property leased out to one Dr. Arun Martin. All the documents pertaing to this is in the IELC trust office and in the IELC website(Dr. Hoeffer’s report of the Tripatriate meeting) available. With regard to the kick backs you said that you know very well about it. After 15 long years you come out with this charges I don’t know why you kept silent about this so long years. Instead of clearing your self you try to accusing me. You should also know that after my office over my predecessor Rev. Dr. J. Samuel few months after taking over the office of the president he himself leased out the adjusant portion of the land to the same Dr. Arun Martin I think you may know how much kick backs involved dealing  and come out. After that a property in Kardi patti ,Madural was sold out do know how much kick backs involved in it because you are well informed about the kick backs by the parties in these dealings and previous dealing in the period of Rev. John Hus,Rev. J. Isaac moon.
You mentioned the sale of the property by Christ Lutheran Church Vellore it not only responsibility of the congregation but knowing it immediately the IELC Trust association and the church council booked them legally and recover the land back.The persons in the responsible office can not evade the responsibility and blame others.
I appreciate your honest reply please take in to confidence of the office of the interim administrator Justice Mr. Hari Paranthaman appointed by the high court of Madras to retrieve the property legally because the property worth so much which will be sufficient to run IELC self support.
Please send an Open letter in this regard to the churches.
